Hello all. I hope you’re well. We had a long weekend over the last three days and I elected to use them to step away and rest for a while. Now, I’m back in action!
Today’s Prompt: Write an entire poem the way Tyler Knott Gregson writes them, (even if poetry isn’t your usual style, push yourself outside the box) in which you are not allowed to edit a single line once it’s down. No changing words, no revising the order, nothing. Create snapshots of moments instead of perfectly edited poetic masterpieces.

Start walking.
Throw caution to the wind
and take the first step, the plunge, the leap of faith.
The fog will soon clear and so too will your path.
Are you afraid of falling? Failing?
Are you afraid of moving backwards?
Sometimes gears must be shifted, steps must be retraced
in order to find the path again.
The glorious firmament will cradle you
and keep you safe.
It may not feel that way, when doubts and fears
fill you with questions, but the fact of the matter is that
it is ready for you. Waiting for you.
Start walking.
